Friday 10th October
Today began with time to catch up on our diary writing before we joined some of the Huijia students in their English classes. The classrooms and classes were quite different from our and some were hard to follow as the teachers gave directions in Chinese!
After lunch the students went into class with their homestay students before heading off for the weekend.
Early in the afternoon the teachers headed to the airport for their two hour flight to Shanghai. We arrived about six and after a wait in the taxi queue and a half hour drive we arrived at our very nice hotel about 7.30pm.
After deposting our bags we went for a short walk around the nearby area in search of dinner and also contacted Mrs Zhang's sister who lives in Shanghai and arranged to meet her the following day.
